                WARSAW- Michael A. Johnson, 55, of CR 70, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at his residence.

He was born June 30, 1958 in Coshocton to Kenneth J. and Wanda F. (Lee) Johnson.  He was a 1976 graduate of River View High School, and a lifetime member of the River View FFA Alumni.  He was also a member of Perry Chapel Baptist Church, the River View Schools Foundation, Ohio Young Farmers, Coshocton-Tuscarawas Lamb & Wool Committee, and the Farm Bureau.  He served on the Coshocton County Fair Board and was a 4-H advisor.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Connie (Stevenson) Johnson of Warsaw, whom he married Sept. 6, 1980, three daughters; Kecia (Jim) Buxton of Warsaw, Andrea (Andrew) Prouty of Norwich, and Amy Jo Johnson of the home, three grandchildren; Laurel & Celia Buxton, and Luke Prouty, his mother, Wanda Johnson, a sister, Debbie L. (Jim) Couch, and two nephews; Ryan (Mandi) Stickdorn and Kyle Stickdorn.

He is preceded in death by his father, a brother, Steve Johnson, a niece, Amber Johnson, and his father-in-law & mother-in-law; Guy & Ruth Stevenson.

The public is invited to an informal gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Mike Johnson, to be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at the Perry Chapel Baptist Church, 19476 TR 380 Warsaw, OH 43844. The family held a private graveside service at Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens, Pastor Dave Fowls officiated.  The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to an education fund for Amy Jo Johnson, c/o Ohio Heritage Bank, 200 Main St., P.O. Box 1000, Coshocton, OH 43812.
