Edwin L. Huff
DAVENPORT, FL- Edwin L. Huff, 79, of W. Lemon St., formerly of Mt. Vernon, OH, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Davenport, FL.
He was born May 13, 1934 in Cumberland, OH to the late Forrest C. and Alice (Martin) Huff. He was a graduate of Withrow High School in Cincinnati, OH, and he served in the US Marine Corp. from 1955-1959. He married Mary Lou (Hawkins) Huff on Oct. 25, 1974, who preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 2000. He was a retired salesman for Century Windows of Mt. Vernon.
He is survived by two daughters; Sue Boles of Davenport, FL, and Roberta Hengartner of Elyria, OH, a step-daughter, Linda Zimmerman, and a step-son, Carl Wright, both of Mt. Gilead, OH, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers; Charles Huff of Newark, OH, and James Huff of London, OH, and three sisters; Jane Nance of Springfield, OH, Barbara Stimpert of Mt. Vernon, OH, and Deb Quinn of Perry, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Wesley Humble officiating. Burial will follow in Darling Run Cemetery, with graveside military rites performed by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard.
