Sheriff’s office seizes more than $80,000 of marijuana
COSHOCTON – Detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed two search warrants at approximately 5 p.m. March 24, at 25167 CR 10 in Keene Township and 25128 TR 384 in Bethlehem Township.
As a result of these warrants, cash, multiple firearms and more than 12 pounds of marijuana were seized. The marijuana has an approximate street value of more than $80,000. Six people were taken into custody, pending the outcome of the investigation.
Four individuals were charged March 26, in connection with the execution of the search warrants. Clarence L. Mathews III, Christopher W. Arnold and Charles R. Vansickle were all charged with a second degree felony count of trafficking in marijuana. Also charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony was Tiffany N. Cox. They are all from the Coshocton area.
Assisting the detectives were members of the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT), Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, The Ohio Organized Crime Unit and The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.
This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
