Traffic Blitz to be conducted

| April 24, 2014

COSHOCTON – Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Traffic Blitz for the upcoming prom weekends. They will be targeting traffic violations in our County in the areas of Sr 60, Sr 93, Sr 83 and Us 36. This Blitz will target the next two weekends April 25 – 27 and May 2 – 4 for impaired driving, seat belts, speed and distracted driving.

This “Blitz”, along with several others, is part of a grant the office has received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. This grant will cover the overtime costs the office will incur during these traffic “Blitzes”.

As always, the sheriff’s office urges the residents of Coshocton County to drive safely and always wear their seatbelts.
