CHS to unveil new mural

| June 2, 2014

COSHOCTON – Under the direction of Myrtle Beall, Coshocton High School art teacher, students in the visual communications class at CHS have worked diligently on a new school mural, which will be unveiled to the public at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4.

The mural in the cafeteria is made up of three separate panels and the theme is school pride. In the center panel of the mural is the Redskins mascot bursting with school pride. His pride is so intense that it breaks down the brick wall he is standing behind. Pieces of the brick wall are flying off of the mural to create a 3-D effect. The bricks that are flying off of the mural have each been painted to represent the different subjects taught at CHS. The left side panel says CHS and the right side panel says pride.
