Reverend Coffman to retire

UntitledCOSHOCTON – Rev. Jan Coffman, Vision and Ministries Coordinator will retire from Grace United Methodist Church in Coshocton on June 30. She began her professional tenure with Grace Church in 1995 serving until 2000 as director of Christian Education. A 2001 seminary graduate, Rev. Coffman was ordained as a deacon in 2004. She assumed her current responsibilities in 2007 and established many of the small groups and ministries currently available to the membership and others at Grace Church.

Rev. Coffman has officiated at many weddings, funerals, and worship services and is often heard as organist and piano accompanist for many of the musicians at Grace Church. Her work, leadership, and love of God are exemplary. Rev. Coffman will continue to serve God in her retirement as a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Grace Church will officially honor Rev. Coffman with a special event immediately following worship on Sunday June 29 in the parlor of the church.
