Pew002 (2)COSHOCTON – Fletcher Marvin Pew, 83, of  20th St., died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Autumn Extended Care.

He was born July 19, 1931 in Clark Township, Coshocton Co. to the late Fletcher Chilten and Kathryn Elizabeth (Fox) Pew.

Marvin was a 1949 graduate of Warsaw High School.  He was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator retiring  in 1996 from Apache Aggregate and Paving Co..  He was a member of the Clark Township Baptist Church, the Warsaw Lions Club and the Coshocton Moose Lodge.

He is survived by two daughters; Linda (Richard) Carpenter of Kannapolis, NC, Lori Lawrence of Millersburg, a son, Jack (Tammy) Pew of Newcomerstown , a sister, Reva (Robert A.) Daugherty of Warsaw, and a brother, Larry (Nancy) Pew of Warsaw.  Grandchildren, Brad (Kathy) Ringwalt, Craig (Rhonda) Ringwalt, Robin (Eric) Postell, Michelle (Gary) Fischer, Shane (Natalie) Pew, Jaime (Josh) Henson, and Lyndsey Lawrence.  Several great grandchildren and one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by  a great grandson, Evan Wright and his special companion, Lois Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor C.E. “Sonny” Easterday officiating.  Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.  Calling hours are from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
