Marshall Gonter PictureCOSHOCTON – Marshall D. “Red Foreman” Gonter, 27, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday August 21, 2014. Marshall was born in Coshocton on July 13, 1987. He graduated from Ridgewood High School and was currently working as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Union Local #18 Operating Engineers. He loved spending time outdoors, four wheeling, fishing and his dogs Bella and Lady. Marshall is survived by his mother Lori (Bill) Speaks of Coshocton; father Paul Gonter of Kimbolton; three brothers George (Nina Helmick) Gonter of Tyndall, Zachary Gonter and Kody Speaks of Coshocton; a sister Jessica Speaks of Coshocton; special niece Olivia Gonter; grandparents Bob (Linda) Edie of Columbus, Paul (Marilyn) Gonter of Tyndall and Barbara Speaks of Coshocton; aunts and uncles Beth Edie of Pickerington, Dann (Jodi) Edie of Coshocton, Matthew Edie of Coshocton, Chuck Gonter of Coshocton, Margaret Gonter of Zanesville and Barbara (Jeff) Howard of Pataskala; several cousins and other family members. Marshall is preceded in death by his grandmothers Ruth Edie and Mary Gonter and one uncle Carl Gonter. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday August 24, 2014 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date.
