Ridgewood falls to Morgan
WEST LAFAYETTE – In girls soccer at West Lafayette, Morgan defeated Ridgewood 2-0
The score remained 0-0 after the first 40 minutes of play.
With 32:56 remaining, the Lady Generals were call for a foul in the box awarding Morgan a penalty kick. Karrie Bluck saved Megan Roberts shot to keep the scoreless. However, the Lady Generals were whistled for encroachment into the box before the ball was kicked – resulting in a re-kick. Roberts got her second shot past Bluck for the 1-0 lead.
Laura Davis made it 2-0 with a goal at 28:50.
Morgan held a 35-7 advantage in shots.
Bluck finished with 24 saves.
Ridgewood hosts Cambridge on Saturday at 11 a.m.
