Terri Lynn Shahan

Terri Lynn Shahan, 53, of Coshocton passed away surrounded by her family at 8:46 P.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her home in Coshocton.

Born February 7, 1961 in Coshocton, she was the adopted daughter of the late Asa Bernard and Marilee Claire (Lacey) Williams.

A high school graduate Terri had been employed at Burger King restaurants and had been a packer at Express Packaging in Newcomerstown for ten years.  Terri loved butterflies and will be remembered as an avid lighthouse collector.

Terri will truly be missed by her husband Gilbert Ray Shahan whom she married on December 22, 2005; five daughters Krista (Doug) Tatro, Jr. of Coshocton, Kayla (Dan Dietrich) Workman of Newcomerstown, Ruby Workman, Tiffany (Jerry Holt) Workman, Marilee Workman all of Coshocton; several grandchildren; brothers James (Paula) Ashcraft of Newark, Gary (Yolonda) Ashcraft, Ronald (Elaine) Ashcraft both of Coshocton;  sisters Brenda Lee (Bodine) Cooper of Kentucky, Nancy (Ted) Mangold of Coshocton, Deenene Provenee, Bobbi Jo Compton both of Texas, Karen (Dave) Schirtzinger of Newark, Judy (Butch) Graves of Dresden; several nieces and nephews;  biological mother Phyllis Jacobs of Coshocton; and special friends Kris Burdette, Cindy Abbott.

In addition to her adopted parents, Terri was preceded in death by an infant son Asa James Workman.

To honor Terri’s request, cremation has taken place.

Arrangements were in care of Free Funeral Home, Coshocton.
