Veterans Day celebrated

Veterans Day27COSHOCTON – French Consul General Vincent Floriani, right, pinned three local World War II Veterans with French Legion Medal of Honors. Pictured from left are WW II Veterans George Leach, Irwin Gibson and William Couts. Floriani thanked the three veterans for their willingness to defend France and sacrifice their lives. Leach and James C. Stone, who are members of the honor guard, also were honored for serving at more than 1,100 military funerals. The honors were handed out at the Nov. 11, Veterans Day ceremony on the court square.

I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University.
