Coshocton Hospital offers free weight loss program

COSHOCTON – The physicians and dietitians of Coshocton hospital are joining forces in a free program designed to help 2015 be the year you achieve your weight loss goals. Get Lean in 2015! provides valuable information to help you understand how to overcome your weight gain triggers, how to maintain good nutrition while still enjoying what you eat, and what role your emotions play in weight gain or loss. The class also offers introductions to exercises that can help you tone and strengthen while you lose excess pounds.

The class is led by registered dietitian Krista Mathews with additional speakers and health professionals offering useful input about incorporating lifestyle changes to keep weight under control. The classes will be held every Thursday for seven weeks, beginning Jan. 15 and ending Feb. 26. The classes are 3:30 to 5 p.m. each week and are held in the Grand Central Station meeting room at Coshocton Hospital; enter through the main entrance at 1460 Orange St.

The class is free, but registration is required. Registrations are accepted online at www.ccmh.com or by calling the dietitian office at 623-4249.
