Chestnut Auto Sales now on Second Street

COSHOCTON – Mike Guinther is happy to be once again dealing cars on Second Street.
“This is where I was originally when I first started,” he said. “I found out the lot was going to be available at the end of the year and decided to move back.”
Guinther’s Chestnut Auto Sales is now located at 725 S. Second St.
“We’ve been here since about the last week in December and things have been going well,” he said.
Guinther was on the corner of Chestnut and Third streets since March 1, 2013 and before that was partners with another dealership.
“There is more room here on Second Street for vehicles and it’s easier to get in and out of,” he said.
The business will continue to focus on providing people with affordable transportation options and Guinther said he plans to have between 20 and 30 vehicles on the lot.
“They will be about $5,000 and under, but sometimes we might go above that with trucks and SUVs,” he said.
Chestnut Auto Sales will work with customers on financing and will do its best to help them find the vehicles they are looking for, which Guinther has been doing for a total of 16 years.
“I like people and dealing with them,” he said.
Chestnut Auto Sales is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Customers also can call 622-2299 for appointments if those times do not work for them.
