Richard A. ‘Dick’ West

Richard West Paper PicRichard A. “Dick” West, 63, of Dresden, formerly of Coshocton passed away at his home on Tuesday March 31, 2015.

Dick was born in Coshocton on November 23, 1951 to the late Kenneth and June Callentine.

He graduated from Coshocton High School, had worked various jobs, most recently Pretty Products. He loved baseball, shooting pool and his beloved canine companion “Bear.”

Dick is survived by his four children Shannon (Scott Bullock) West of Coshocton, Rich (Ashley) West of Coshocton, Cherish West of Zanesville and Ric Wears of Zanesville; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters Debbie (Ralph) Ianniello of Coshocton and Vicki (Steve) Young of West Lafayette; several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Gene West; grandparents Alfred and Lilly Purdy.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday April 6, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM where funeral services for Dick will begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Per Dick’s wishes, a cremation will take place after funeral services.
