Habitat for Humanity moves to new location on Pine Street
COSHOCTON – Habitat for Humanity Coshocton County has recently moved from their location on Walnut Street to combine with ReStore at 84 Pine Street in Coshocton.
“It made more sense for us to all be together,” said Brittleigh Smith, executive director of Habitat for Humanity. “We didn’t see a lot of foot traffic at our location on Walnut Street, so it’s nice to have more foot traffic here.”
Volunteers from Hopewell Industry helped Habitat make the move to Pine Street just last week. Habitat’s mission is to eliminate substandard housing in Coshocton County. They have a golf outing fundraiser scheduled for July and have a groundbreaking ceremony for House 15 scheduled for this weekend. There is also an open house to celebrate the first anniversary of ReStore’s location on Pine Street scheduled for Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
