Coshocton is Blooming needs your help

| April 30, 2015

COSHOCTON – Have you seen the pallets sitting around the Court Square? Another shipment of planters has arrived and will be used to enhance the areas around the city of Coshocton.

Coshocton is Blooming is giving area businesses the opportunity to have one, two, or a grouping of three planters to help beautify and perk up their buildings. Flowers from the CIB color theme, “GrapeXpectations” will be planted by CIB members. There is no extra work on your part since watering and fertilizing will be done through the CIB group.

If you are interested in participating in this project to unify Coshocton, contact Deb Gaumer at Garden Patch (740-622-6452) and she will get the ball rolling for you. Be on the lookout for colorful CIB door hangers this summer. CIB is partnering with members of city council to recognize homes and businesses that have shown an effort in beautification by planting flower beds, cleaning up their lots, and weeding sidewalks and parking lot beds. This is community wide effort, so talk with your neighbors; they might need some help and encouragement.

Even though the city is not participating in America in Bloom this year, residents still need to “Take Pride in Coshocton” so guests and groups feel welcomed to the city.
