Registration for Learn to Swim classes approaching
COSHOCTON COUNTY – Learn to Swim classes, sponsored by American Red Cross, will be at Lake Park July 6 – 17 and in Warsaw July 20 – 31. Registration dates are as follows: Warsaw classes – May 18 from 6 – 7 p.m. in the Community Room at the Walhonding Fire Department; Lake Park classes – Tuesday, May 19 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Red Cross Office located at 245 N. 4th St. Coshocton.
Participants must bring the name and phone number of the child’s doctor, dentist, hospital, and all emergency contact information. If someone other than the parent will be registering the child, you must bring a signed note from the parent that you have permission to register the child and you will sign the consent forms that you are responsible for the child.
They do not want to turn any child away this year. They need more than 20 adult volunteers who are willing to get in the pools and help the instructors. Without enough volunteers, they will have to limit the class size.
