Hot Air Balloon Festival queen contestants sought
COSHOCTON – Applications for the very first Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival Queen are being accepted between now and Friday, May 22. Contestants must be a female resident of Coshocton County and must graduate from high school in 2015 and plan to pursue a post secondary education in the fall.
The queen’s duties will include attendance at the Hot Air Balloon Festival at the Coshocton County Fairground June 4-6. In addition she must agree to represent the festival at eight additional festivals/events and to observe the festival queen rules. The queen must provide her own adult chaperon and transportation.
Upon completion of her duties and upon submission of official grade report at the end of the fall 2015 semester the queen will be awarded a scholarship in the amount of $500.
