Walk for Williams held

| May 26, 2015

DSC_0014The 10th and final annual Walk for Williams event was held Saturday morning at Lake Park. Two enthusiastic youngsters are among the participants at the event. Runners and walkers have raised over $40,000 for the cause over the past ten years at the event. Nanci Rogers told everyone in attendance, “We appreciate all of your support over the years. The money raised goes to research, camps and conventions.” People can still donate to the cause by going to the Williams Syndrome website at Williams-Syndrome.org. Four Williams Syndrome adults attended the event and were applauded. Rogers said to watch for announcements for an event that will take place next year.
