The Rusty Olde Crow is on the move

COSHOCTON – After only about seven months in business, The Rusty Olde Crow is ready to expand.
The store, featuring a variety of primitive and handmade items for your home, was located at 119 S. Sixth St., but will reopen Wednesday, June 3, at 733 Cambridge Road.
“We could really fit a lot of our stuff in that little store, but we ran out of space,” said Stephanie Adams, who runs the shop with Kendra Parsons. “This move also gives us the opportunity to add a few more vendors that we didn’t have before.”
They currently have about 11 vendors and roughly 80 percent of the merchandise in the store is made right here in Coshocton County.
“We sell a wide variety of everything we have and have a lot of repeat customers,” Adams said. “The two of us also will do special orders.”
Parsons agreed with Adams.
“If you don’t see a sign you want we will make you one,” Parsons said.
As far as they know, they also are the only place in town to purchase pip berry rings and garlands and Grubby Taper Candles. In the future they would like to start adding garage sale and auction items that they have revamped and carry curtains and bedding, porch furniture, and hanging baskets. Parsons’ parents, who own the building, also have plans to open up a sandwich and coffee shop at the location.
The Rusty Olde Crow is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and can be reached by calling 740-610-8939.
“We bring new merchandise in weekly,” Parsons said.
They also are known for having reasonable prices.
“That’s one of the best compliments we get,” Adams said.
The grand opening celebration will be held Saturday, June 6, with refreshments, special offerings and the first 10 people in the store will get 10 percent off their purchase.
“We are very appreciative of our customers and we look forward to seeing everybody,” Adams said.
