COSHOCTON – Art Encounter for Children: Make a Beaded Bracelet will be offered from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum.

The workshop will begin in the American Indian Gallery to view the beadwork. Participants will learn about some of the different styles of beading before making a seed bead bracelet for themselves. (Seed beads are the small glass beads common in American Indian beadwork.) Students may choose from a number of styles suitable for boys and girls alike. Staff member Jenn Bush will teach the class, geared for children 10 and older.

Class fee is $12. Pre-paid reservations must be made by Monday, Oct. 8. For information contact the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum at 740-622-8710 or jhmuseum@jhmuseum.org. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman St.
