Man charged with robbery
COSHOCTON – On June 9, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the loss prevention officer at Woodbury Outfitters in reference to a possible theft. While officers were in route, an altercation ensued over the adult male attempting to leave the area. Before uniformed officers could arrive, the suspect fled the area in a vehicle along with another adult male and two small children.
After a lengthy pursuit, two males were taken into custody without further incident and the two children were assisted by Coshocton County Children Services.
On June 10, Jeremy H. Ferguson, 34-years-old and from the Trinway area, was charged with robbery, a felony of the third degree. Additional charges may be filed, pending the outcome of the investigation.
