Steven E. Flowers

                WARSAW- Steven Eugene “Big Daddy” Flowers, 73, of Bedford Township Rd. 51, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Walnut Grove Extended Care Facility in Coshocton.

He was born May 10, 1942 in Gratiot to the late Charles and Beatrice Hazel (Johnson) Flowers.  He was the owner & operator of Flowers Logging for many years.  His passion was trucking, and he enjoyed watching many truck and tractor pulls.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth (Hutson) Flowers of Warsaw, whom he married April 26, 1962, two daughters; Kimberly (Donald) Romine of Dresden, and Kelly Miller (Terry DeRammerlaere) of Columbus, a son, Steven M. (Patricia) Flowers of West Lafayette, six grandchildren; Lauren (Matthew), Victoria, Mark, Karl, Kyle, and Braeton, a great-grandson, Liam, a sister, Sue (Karl) Kent of Coshocton, two brothers; Dick (Carolyn) Flowers of Coshocton, and Roy Flowers of Fallsburg, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barb Moran, and a brother, Charles “Eddie” Flowers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rita Myers officiating.  Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.  Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
