Relay wraps up

DSC_0007COSHOCTON – The 2015 Coshocton County Relay for Life is in the books and members of the committee met at the Roscoe United Methodist Church on Monday evening, June 15 to discuss monies raised, complete a survey on how to improve next year’s Relay and presented a traveling trophy to Team Hiccup, for capturing 2,800 points with their participation in Relay events. Pictured is Marsha Wood of Team Hiccup, Joe Carter, who presented the trophy and Janet Wood also from Team Hiccup. McWane Ductile was the overall highest fund raising team with team co-captain Joe Carter saying they will be over $20,000 when all monies are recorded. The total for the Relay overall as of Monday evening stands at $116,460.72. The theme for the 2016 Relay for Life is “Relay around the World”. This year’s Relay was co-chaired by Heather Pope, Julie Kiser and Missy Wilson. Wilson will be co-chairing the 2016 Relay and the committee is looking for a co-chair.
