Adams named as executive director of Clary Gardens

COSHOCTON – Jandi Adams has been named as executive director of Clary Gardens, according to Sally Bullens, board chair of the organization.

Adams is a graduate of River View High School and graduated from the Ohio State University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in molecular genetics. She also holds a master’s degree in education from Muskingum University. She is a national trainer as a Certified Manager of Program Improvement (CMPI) through Ohio University.

Her previous employment experience includes working with the Ohio Department of Agriculture, the local and state Adult Basic Literacy (ABLE) programs, and most recently, served as business coordinator for OhioMeansJobs through the Coshocton County Job & Family Services office.

Adams is an active community volunteer with several organizations, including currently serving as chair of the board of Health Services and Hospice of Coshocton County. She also was a volunteer with the North Appalachian Experimental Watershed, where she assisted with research on hydrology, surface runoff, groundwater quality and erosion for agricultural and other purposes.

Established in 2001, Clary Gardens is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides a public garden, walking trails, amphitheater and event space. The gardens are located on State Route 541 just past Roscoe Village.

“Jandi brings a wealth of skills, experience and leadership abilities,” Bullens said. “She will be a wonderful asset to Clary Gardens.”
