United Way Birthday Bash

| June 29, 2015

COSHOCTON – The front lawn at Lake Park was covered with games, bouncy houses, tents, and most of all, people, on Sunday, June 28 as United Way celebrated its 75th anniversary in Coshocton County. The day’s events ended with a laser light show in the Pavilion. “We were really pleased with the turnout and thankful that the weather was nice and the rain stopped just in time for us to get set up,” said Lyn Mizer, executive director of United Way. “Even though the temperature was so cool, we still had well over 400 people show up and I think the cool weather made it nicer to do the activities. We’re glad we were able to provide some nice family activities. I saw a few people there with picnics, so we’re just thankful that people were able to come out and celebrate with us.”
