| July 20, 2015

COSHOCTON – Is solar energy right for your farm? Learn how solar energy development on the farm could help to lower costs. This program will provide participants with an overview of Ohio’s renewable energy and net metering policy as well as on-farm solar applications and assessments. There will be a panel of local farmers currently using solar energy as part of their operations and solar energy equipment and policy experts.  Participants may receive a free, personalized solar assessment if they bring their electric bill with them to the program. A mobile solar unit will also be on-site to demonstrate how solar technology works.

The program will be Monday, Aug. 3, at The Animal Boutique and Villas, located at 23905 Airport Road, Coshocton from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

A complimentary lunch is provided for those who pre-register. We thank Paradise Energy Solutions for sponsoring this program. Please call 740-622-2265 by July 29, as pre-registration is required to receive lunch.

A downloadable flyer is available at coshocton.osu.edu. To receive a copy of the flier by mail or email, or if you have questions, please call Emily Adams at 740-622-2265.
