UntitledCOSHOCTON – The Coshocton Rotary Foundation, an Ohio charitable non-profit corporation established in 1972 has awarded the Pomerene Center for the Arts $10,000 in support of the artPARK project at the site of the former Park Hotel in Coshocton.

In January 2014, the Pomerene purchased the lot for development as a permanent artPARK. The project is designed to bring cultural and artistic influence to the site located in the heart of downtown Coshocton. The artPARK design process is supported in part by a National Endowment for the Art, an OUR TOWN grant awarded to the Pomerene Center for the Arts in partnership with Coshocton City. Through OUR TOWN, the NEA supports creative placemaking projects that help transform communities into lively, beautiful, and sustainable places with the arts at their core.

Tim Vance, Coshocton Rotary Foundation Treasurer made the award presentation to Anne Cornell, Director of the Pomerene Center for the Arts, at the weekly meeting of the Coshocton Rotary Club.

“We are fortunate to have a rich cultural heritage here in Coshocton and the Rotary Foundation is pleased to make this gift available in support of the Pomerene Center.” said Vance.
