County Road 16 road work to begin

| September 4, 2015

COSHOCTON – Coshocton County Engineer Frederick Wachtel announced construction crews will begin construction and paving work on County Road 16 between the Village of West Lafayette and the City of Coshocton beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Although traffic will be maintained using flaggers and signs, motorists are to expect significant delays throughout the area and are urged to use the alternate route of US 36. The work will continue for the next 45 days as crews work to repave the 4.5 miles of roadway and the inclusion of many safety enhancements for the roadway.

This project is a combination of a federally funded grant and local motor vehicle fuel funds. Anyone with questions may contact the Coshocton County Engineer’s Office at 740-622-2135 or visit them online at www.coshoctoncounty.net.
