| September 8, 2015

WEST LAFAYETTE – Ridgewood FFA held a Labor Day tractor pull Sept. 5 at Bud Hawk Arena in Bakersville to raise money for community service projects such as Feed the Farmers, Safety Day and Adopt-a-Family. “A major goal of FFA is to help teach service and giving back,” said Ridgewood FFA Advisor Sue Davis. “The students are required to do 10 hours of community service a year.” This is the first time the group tried this fundraiser, which also featured a silent auction and free kiddie tractor pull. “Our president Jenna Wyler was behind organizing all this,” Davis said.
