Grandparents visit Warsaw Elementary

| September 25, 2015

WARSAW – Jalynn West was excited to share her school with her grandparents. “I want to show them my new teachers because they are all really cool,” said the Warsaw Elementary School fifth grader. Grandparents’ Day was held Sept. 24 and Sept. 25 at the school and gave grandparents the opportunity to visit their grandchildren’s classrooms, enjoy lunch together and browse the book fair. “It’s nice to have your grandparents come eat with you and if you haven’t seen them in a while you get to say hi,” said Conner Webster, a sixth grader at the school. The older students at Warsaw Elementary also had an important job to keep the event running smooth. “We got to help get the kids and bring them to their grandparents.”
