Area youth compete in general livestock judging contest
COSHOCTON – On Saturday, Oct. 3 Coshocton County 4-H and FFA youth participated in the 2015 general livestock judging contest at the Coshocton County Fair. Youth were evaluated on how they judged six categories of livestock including breeding and market classes of sheep, swine and beef.
Earning top team and individual rankings were:
First place senior team: Emma Anderson, Cale Bible, Hayden McCoy, Logan Smith
Second place senior team: Andrea Barnett, Andrew Haines, Jonathon Helmick, Liz Porteus
Third place senior team: Noah Anderson, Wesley Anderson, Eden Ehman, Michaela White
Fourth place senior team: Emily Bookless, Kaitlyn Finton, Waverly Reidenbach
First place junior team: Memphis Cutshall, Evan Duncan, Gage Haines, Montana Seitz
Second place junior team: Luke Massie, Britton McCoy, Kaitlin Richard, Cal Shrimplin
Third place junior team: Kamryn McGinnis, Alivia Mourer, Jayden Rice, Drew Tumblin
Fourth place junior team: Devin Barnett, Adien Berger, Cole Tatro, Caleb Wright
