Roscoe Village offers bow making workshop

| October 8, 2015

COSHOCTON – To help you prepare for your holiday decorating, the Roscoe Village Landscape Department will be having a Bow Making Workshop on Thursday Oct. 22. Diana Swigert will be leading this workshop which will be at the Roscoe Visitor Center from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Diana worked in the Landscape Department for more than 33 years and continues to share her knowledge and talents. She will concentrate on teaching you four bows: the simple Shoelace Bow and the Floral Bow teaches how to measure, bunch, gather, and twist the ribbon. The ‘Roscoe’ Bow has been used for more than 40 years for the lamp post swags in Roscoe. It also works well on wreaths, window sills, garland, door swags, and large packages. The Tree Bow is a simple bow and fun to make and can be used to decorate indoor and outdoor trees. You will be taking home a sample of each of the bows. Cost for the class is $8 which covers the expense of materials.

Class size is limited, so make your reservations by calling 740-622-7644 ext. 10 and leave a message. Questions may also be directed to that number. Parking for this workshop is available at the Visitor Center.
