Early childhood education expansion grant

WEST LAFAYETTE – Ridgewood Local has been approved for an expansion of their preschool units. They are looking for children between the ages of three and four to attend their school.

This unit will be for three or four years old only. They must have proof of residency by providing a utility bill, rental contract, etc. You must live in the Ridgewood School District. You must show proof of income by providing a copy of check stub or Tax Form 1040. Parents will provide their own transportation. Attendance will be two full days a week, Monday through Thursday. Selection process and tuition will be based on the Ohio Poverty Guidelines.

The deadline for preschool applications will be Dec. 18. Questions should be addressed to Brian Rentsch, preschool director at 740-502-5312. You may pick up an application in the Ridgewood Elementary Office or visit the Ridgewood website.
