Biggers to meet with voters

COSHOCTON – Republican candidate Cliff Biggers of Coshocton will meet with voters Thursday, Nov. 19, as he personally announces his run for Ohio House District 72 which encompasses Perry, Coshocton and part of Licking County.

Biggers’ three county swing starts in Perry County at Trotters Restaurant, 123 N. Main St. in New Lexington at 1 p.m. He will then appear at High Point Park, 81 Liberty St. in Etna at 3 p.m. Biggers will wind up this first campaign trip at Towne Center Civic Hall, 331 Main Street in Coshocton, at 5:30 p.m.

Voters will have the chance to meet and greet Cliff Biggers at each location and hear him speak of his vision for House District 72.

“I appreciate the support and encouragement Coshocton citizens have afforded me as President of City Council the past three years,” he said. “I shall seek to earn the trust and support of citizens in the 72nd District of the Ohio House of Representatives.”

Biggers was recently elected to a second full term as Coshocton City Council President. He is a retired Newark City detective having served in the Major Crimes Unit and is the pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Coshocton. He has filed to run as a Republican candidate in the primary election in March 2016.
