Flying Pig Farm
It’s decided to get chilly again! Well, windy at least. Warm up with some soup or make an easy meal by adding chunked chicken or beef to our rice mixes. We will be taking baking orders for the week of Thanksgiving! Need rolls, wheat bread or maybe cinnamon rolls for breakfast? Sign up on the sheet in our booth or message us on www.Facebook.com/OhioFlyingPigFarm. We’ll also be adding gift baskets soon for those of you thinking of Christmas gifts! Check out our grill basket and jam gift sets. Join us for a tasting on Dec. 3rd!
Hillbippie Clay Co.
I am dropping off more garlic grater plates this morning!! These make a great gift, add olive oil and some of Circle the Sun’s garlic and you have a lovely set!
Keene Creek Farm
Oh, that time of year when we gather with friends and family around one large table (or sometimes three or four…) to give thanks for the year’s blessings is upon us. This year we continue to be grateful to have the opportunity to help feed you and yours. We are grateful to live in a nation that allows us the freedom to choose and grow our food as we please. And, we are grateful that we live in a community that values the fruit of our labor. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Happy Thanksgiving.
Mullet Apiaries
Wow, the holidays are rapidly approaching. We here at Mullet Apiaries know that some of you have early holiday events so we have gift packs available starting this week. This warm weather has allowed our wintering bees to get ready for winter. They are repositioning their honey stores where they need them, the drones have been kicked out (sorry guys), and when it turns cold, as it soon will, they will be comfy and cozy until spring. As always, thanks for your business and don’t forget Small Business Day on November 28th!
Strawberry Hill Farm
The unseasonably warm weather has kept some crops in our gardens growing this week. We’ve stocked the cooler with lots of romaine, some kale and broccoli, and plenty of eggs from our free range hens on pasture. We also added more sweet potatoes and strawberry jam to the shelves. Next week Mary will bring in her buttery shortbread. If you’d like to place an order, let her know at strawberryhillfarm1@gmail.com. Enjoy the warmth while it lasts!
