Alice Grewell
Alice Grewell, 65, of Newcomerstown passed away Friday December 4, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. She was born in Steubenville on January 12, 1950 to the late Francis and Virginia (Hymes) Truex. Alice was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School and worked for Lafayette Pointe Care Center and Signature Healthcare for many years. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, creating needle point pictures, and spending time with her family. Alice is survived by her husband, Edward Grewell; daughters Melissa (Neal) Harbott of Chelsea,MI and Pamela Larntz of Grantspath, OR; step children Edward , David (Nina), Wade (Kimberly) and Scott (Rachel) Grewell all of Middletown, OH; sisters Fannie (Gary) Arnold and Betty (Albert) Glazer; sister-in-law Bonnie Truex; four grandchildren; six step grandchildren; one great grandchild and 2 step-great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her brother Raymond “Shorty” Truex; sisters Lisa Truex and Patricia Grewell. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday December 10, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral services for Alice will be Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Brodbeck officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Cemetery.
