On Dec. 16, the Sheriff’s Office investigated two accident(s) and two complaint(s).
Accidents
2:17 AM: Terri Mankin of Warsaw was westbound on US 36 when a deer ran into her vehicle
5:40 AM: Saxon Justice of Great Falls, Virginia was eastbound on US 36 when he lost control of his vehicle going off the right side of the roadway striking a tree. Upon investigation, Justice was arrested and charged with OVI, OVI low test, and failure to control.

10:00 AM: The litter officer reported an illegal dumpsite on SR 83 south of TR 280
12:00 PM: The litter officer reported an illegal dumpsite on CR 3.
