Good Morning,

We hope you will have the chance to be gather with friends and family during this holiday season! The store will be open today for all your last minute gifts and goodies, 10-5.  We are closed tomorrow, Friday Dec. 25th for Christmas and will be open 9-1 Sat. Dec. 26th.

Vendor Updates:

3G’s

Being the shortest day of the year I didn’t have very much time to harvest in the greenhouse today after I got home from work. However I do have a selection of herbs which include sweet Italian basil, parsley and fresh English thyme. I also have some very nice purple kale and purple kale florets.
Merry Christmas to everyone.

Hillbippie

We wish you a Merry Christmas from up on the hill, it is nice and sunny this morn! Giving the gift of local/handmade is like shaking hands with the maker.  It is more than just a thing, it is someone’s effort, love and one of the best gifts, time. I have a variety of pottery pieces left that would make lovely little last minute gifts. As always my ware is dishwasher and microwave safe.  Thank you for all of your support to our  LOCAL bounty and enjoy the holiday season!!

Keene Creek Farm

Merry Christmas to you and yours. We hope that as you gather with family and friends this week, your time is filled with love, laughter and all of the joys the Christmas season brings. Our market stalls are still full of goodies – from our rustic herb pizza dough mixes (available in white and whole wheat) to our holiday edition of our monster mix, there is a little stocking stuffer or small gift any foodie would appreciate. We have also restocked our pastured pork freezer to the best of our ability. Ham loaf and bacon are starting to run low, but both have been restocked for this week. In the crazy busy days ahead, cook up some of our mild Italian brats for a quick (and delicious) lunch/dinner. Our roast supply is restocked too – remember the loin roasts slice nicely (great to prepare to help ring in the new year and the shoulder roasts are good shredding cuts for pulled pork, etc.). We truly hope your Christmas is blessed, merry and bright – Rowdi, Marissa, Mairin & Sylvie Mullett

Strawberry Hill Farm

Merry Christmas to you, our valued customers at Local Bounty! The weather may not be wintery, but it can still be damp and chilly—good weather for soup. We’ve stocked the cooler with kale, which makes a great soup combined with sweet potatoes. Also in the cooler: eggs from our free-range hens on pasture. In addition, Mary has baked more shortbread for your holiday eating. It makes a great hostess gift or contribution to Christmas carry-ins. Remember, shortbread also freezes well, so you can keep it handy for when needed. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season with delicious local foods!

Happy Holidays to you and yours,
