Sarah S. Carpenter
KILLBUCK- Sarah Sue (Sampsel) Carpenter, 74, went to be with all her loved ones in Heaven on Dec. 30, 2015.
She was born Aug. 29, 1941 in Layland to the late Paul W. and Mary J. (Miller) Sampsel. She was loved deeply by all of her loved ones. She loved her family, playing cards, Bingo, crossword puzzles, watching her favorite show, “The Days of Our Lives”, attending yard sales, and family gatherings. She loved to spoil her grandkids. She had a heart of gold, and was always giving. She was a one of a kind and will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her children; Robert “Bob” (Kay) Carpenter of Millersburg, Barb Palmer and husband JB Palmer, III of Brinkhaven, and Chad Carpenter of the home, her precious eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, two brothers; Fred (Becky) Sampsel of Blissfield, and Gerald “Butch” Sampsel of Wooster, two sisters; Judy Mizer of Warsaw, and Marilyn (Johnny) Krownapple of Spring Mountain, a sister-in-law, Betty Sampsel of Layland, and her beloved pet, “Itty Bitty”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Roxanne McFadden, three granddaughters; Meatrie, Bobbie, and Belinda, five brothers; George, Bob, Richard, Paul, and Jerry Sampsel, and a niece, Diane Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Killbuck Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
