Nominations being taken for employee of the year award

COSHOCTON – Nominations are now being taken for the Coshocton County Employee of the Year Award.

The purpose of this award is to recognize vocational excellence and the practice of high ethical standards in the workplace.

The award, created in 1997, is sponsored by the Coshocton Rotary Club with the support of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce. The Employee of the Year Award will be presented at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on Friday, April 15.

Basic requirements are: Businesses may nominate more than one employee; however, groups of employees cannot be nominated. (Example: the customer service department). The employee cannot be in a management or supervisory position. The employee must have been employed by the nominating firm for a minimum of three years.

Employers are encouraged to resubmit previous nominations for consideration.

Nominations need to include: Name of business; employee’s name; number of years employed by business; and employee’s job title. Please give examples of ways the employee has exhibited such traits as: Exemplary performance on the job and/or with customers, high ethical standards, service in the workplace, fidelity to the employer and co-workers, etc. Also please note evidence of the employee’s commitment to the community and include your name, title and date.

Nominations must be returned to the chamber office at 200 N. Whitewoman St., Coshocton, OH 43812, by Friday, March 25, or may be mailed to the Coshocton Rotary Club, Post Office Box 675, Coshocton, OH 43812.
