Roscoe Village offers tool care, pruning workshop
COSHOCTON – You have often heard that you should clean your tools in the fall when you are done gardening for the season. But it can be hard to find time to clean and sharpen tools at home. On Thursday, March 3, bring your gardening tools to Roscoe Village for a tool care session. Connie Miller from the Roscoe Landscape Department will assist you with cleaning and sharpening your tools. Tracey Wiseman, Master Gardener and lead gardener for Clary Gardens, will share proper pruning techniques and discuss shrubs that should be pruned over the winter and what not to prune in spring. We will have all the items that you will need for cleaning and sharpening your tools.
This workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m., at the Roscoe Village Visitor Center in The Lock Landing. Participants may park behind the building. Call 740-622-7644, ext. 10 if you would like to attend; leave your name and phone number. And be sure to bring in your tools. There is no charge for this workshop.
