CHS wrestling coach resigns

COSHOCTON – Tim Ward, head wrestling coach at Coshocton High School has submitted his resignation.

Ward was the head coach at Coshocton for the past four years. During his most recent tenure, the wrestling program had numerous individuals compete at the district and state level tournaments, his teams won back to back sectional titles in 2015 and 2016, and most recently finished as regional runner up in the 2016 Team State Duals.

“Tim is such a quality coach and even better person. His passion for kids and the sport of wrestling will be sorely missed. He has done an exceptional job and we wish him the best,” said Tim Fortney, athletic director at Coshocton High School.
