New exhibit opening at Pomerene Center

COSHOCTON – The new art exhibit, A Forest of Families, which is a celebration of blended, adopted and foster families, will open with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at the Pomerene Center for the Arts.

The exhibit features works by the Wells, Faust, Darr, Clark and Napier families, Joan Staufer, coordinating artist, and Michael Schmidt, MA, artist. There also is a special exhibit by former foster child, Marie Jungling, who is a student at the Columbus College of Art & Design.

A Forest of Families is brought to you by Coshocton Job and Family Services as part of Child Abuse Prevention Month and is generously sponsored by The Kiwanis Club of Coshocton, Coshocton Rotary Club, Junior Women’s Club, McWane Ductile, Kraft/Heinz Foods and the Coshocton Foundation.
