Signature holds ribbon cutting for remodeling
COSHOCTON – Signature HealthCare is dedicated to caring for people and its recent renovations help emphasize that. On March 31 the health care facility on Whitewoman Street held a ribbon cutting and open house to reintroduce itself to the public. Recent remodeling was designed to make people feel more at home and create a sense of nostalgia with the new general store and gas station area. Food also is now served in a restaurant like setting and the term resident has been replaced with elders. “We are about quality of life and building our elders quality of life,” said Chris Lofton, CEO. “We are person centered and will build ourselves around them. That’s the way it should be done and the way we will do it.” Signature also is proud to have a full time chaplain, Mark Brodbeck, who Frances Deeds really likes. “I’ve been here nine months and Pastor Mark makes my day,” she said. “He listens to us real well.”
