Our kale and lettuce are doing well enough now to share some, so i will bring some of those greens in on Tuesday morning, weather permitting.  When people ask me how to fix kale, I usually tell them about a “super-salad” made from chopped fresh greens with lemon juice and olive oil.  Season with salt and pepper and add a little grated Parmesan cheese — the kind you grate, not shake.  I also like kale cooked like spinach and topped with apple cider vinegar and salt.  The kale chips are OK, but not my favorite.

We will also bring eggs and those GF brownies (could stand for gluten free or guilt free, whichever you need most).

Thank you for your support.

Strawberry Hill Farm

We brought a few more quarts of our certified organic strawberries to the store today and will be bringing more through the week. For the first time we are also selling our strawberry vinaigrette at Local Bounty. It gives an excellent strawberry flavor on salads, and is also delicious as an add-on sauce with chicken at the table. Also at LB today are our garlic scapes and a good amount of romaine lettuce. Summer is here!

As always thank you for your support
