Five taken into custody after drug raid

COSHOCTON – On Aug. 30, at approximately 2 p.m. detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Burt Ave, in the city of Coshocton.

As a result of this search warrant, a large amount of methamphetamine, drug related items, cash and a firearm were seized.  Six adults, four males and two females, were taken into custody and await the filing of formal charges.

On Aug. 31, Jeremy D. Brown, 39-years-old and from the Coshocton area, Amanda L. Shryock, 37-years-old and from the Coshocton area, and Alice M. Brown, 40-years-old and from the Coshocton area, were all charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a felony of the first degree. The remaining adults were released from custody.

Assisting the detectives were members of the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) and The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
