Local man charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Juveniles Detective received information on Aug. 24 about a 14 year old girl being sexually assaulted and began investigating the allegations.
On Aug. 29, a 32 year old male from the Coshocton area was taken into custody in reference to the assault.
On Aug. 30, Roni L. Landis Jr., was formally charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony of the third degree and remains in the Justice Center at this time with a $15,000 bond.
Assisting the detective with this investigation is Coshocton County Children Services and the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.
This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
