Gary A. Dolick

| November 7, 2016

DolickCOSHOCTON- Gary Ambrose Dolick, 73, of US 36, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 at his residence.

He was born June 6, 1943 in Coshocton Co. to the late Ambrose Bernard and Esqueline Roahrig (Powelson) Dolick. He was a 1961 graduate of Roscoe High School.

Gary married Judith Ellen (Lemmons) Dolick on Dec. 21, 1974, who preceded him in death on April 18, 2008. His life revolved around his wife and children and he loved them with all his heart.  He and Judy had 33 wonderful and blessed years of marriage.  He became her biggest pillar of strength during her battle with cancer with his unconditional love and support.  From coaching Nikki and Troy’s sports teams to working the night shift at General Electric so he could see their school games, he quickly became their number one fan and biggest supporter.  He shared that passion for sports with both of them throughout his life and he was truly their best friend.  Gary was an avid Detroit sports and Nascar fan, John Deere and Chevy enthusiast, and loved working outside and taking care of his property.

He also shared a passion with Troy in their collection of Polaris ATVs and looked forward to the annual trip to the Hatfield and McCoy trails in WV.  Gary was a passionate Ridgewood baseball supporter and enjoyed watching the kids and program excel.  He was incredibly excited about Nikki fulfilling her dream of building a house, was able to help every step of the way, and looked forward to every moment of it.  He loved his sister Patrice and brother Larry and enjoyed catching up with them; whether it was a quick phone call to say “Hi” or to voice his opinion about something to last minute excursions with Larry and his dear friend Dan Duling.  Often times those trips would lead to breakfast or lunch wherever the road would take them.  He was loved by all who knew him and will be truly missed.

He is survived by a daughter, Nikki Dolick of Howard; a son, Troy Dolick of Coshocton; two nieces, Kim (Dave) Hawk of Danville, and Michelle (Mike) Neitzelt of Danville; three nephews, Mark (Gina) Dolick of New Concord, Jason Dolick of West Lafayette, and Tyler Croft of Coshocton; a brother, Larry (Nelda) Dolick of Coshocton; a sister, Patrice (Steve) Croft Coshocton; and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Lemmons of Danville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Don Dolick officiating.  Burial will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.  Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9th at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
