Medical center appoints administrator to lead hospital
COSHOCTON – Coshocton Regional Medical Center announced the appointment of Stephanie Conn, RN, BSN, MSN, to lead the hospital as administrator/chief nursing officer. She has previously served as the chief nursing officer for Coshocton County Memorial Hospital since November 2012. On Nov. 1, 2016, the hospital was acquired by Prime Healthcare Foundation. Conn will now assume the role of administrator in addition to her responsibilities of providing oversight of all nursing functions. The announcement was made by Regional CEO Rick Wright at an employee meeting held on Monday, Nov. 14.
“As a highly trained nurse whose experience has included involvement in strategic initiatives as well as management of all nursing functions, emergency services, quality, and physician recruitment, Stephanie brings her analytical skills, leadership skills and enthusiasm for Coshocton Regional Medical Center to her new role as administrator,” said Rick Wright, Regional CEO for Prime Healthcare Foundation. “Stephanie brings experience in both healthcare management and as a Masters-trained nurse, making her an excellent choice as the hospital’s top executive. She will guide the implementation of patient care and quality initiatives as well as manage capital equipment and infrastructure improvements made possible by Prime Healthcare’s investments.”
Conn earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Malone College in Canton, and her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. She has over 16 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with expertise in evidence-based nursing practice/scope and standards of practice; nurse staffing and productivity; program planning and implementation; accreditation and regulatory compliance; trends in health care and nursing practice; continuous quality improvement; strategic planning and leadership; employee training and development; and physician recruitment.
